Kaveh Khatibloo

Kaveh Khatibloo, Co-CEO

Kaveh brings over 20 years of architecture, design, and project management experience to Stillwater, though his passion for this industry began at a very young age. Growing up in a family of architects, Kaveh followed in their footsteps by first receiving his degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Since then, he has honed his skills in a number of ways, including managing a successful residential design consulting firm and overseeing hundreds of custom home projects. Originally from Tehran, Kaveh moved to Boston as a teenager and ultimately settled in Seattle with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, Kaveh enjoys sailing, cooking, camping, and spending time with his family.

John Morgan

John Morgan, Co-CEO

John has 23 years of experience in executive positions during which he managed a wide range of functions including strategic planning, vendor relations, contract negotiations, and multi-tiered sales organizations. He has a strong track record of success in many areas, among then identifying efficiencies, business development, and employee retention. Born and raised in the Seattle area, John graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business & Economics. He is passionate about building, growing, and improving our business through meaningful customer interaction. Outside of the office, you might find John golfing, hiking, or training for his next triathlon. A two-time Ironman finisher, he is also actively involved in local youth sports and Boy Scouts of America.

Sales

Rob Meighan

Rob Meighan, Senior Sales and Project Manager

Rob has over 30 years of experience in the custom home industry, including time as a National Sales Manager for one of the largest builders in the Pacific Northwest. He has worked with many building styles, including post and beam, stick frame, timber frame, SIP, and even log homes. In addition to being a Certified Green Professional with NAHB and certified BC Built Green, he is the proud recipient of the 2014 National SAM Award in Canada for Custom Home of the Year. Born in Chicago, Rob grew up enjoying the nomadic Navy lifestyle and has lived on both coasts twice. Though ultimately earning his Design Degree from the Art Institute of Seattle, he attended University of Washington and remains a lifelong fan. In his spare time, you can find Rob discussing the trade with his wife (an architect), enjoying outdoor activities, or putting his design background to good use on woodworking and stained glass projects. He is also actively involved in many school and parish functions, also volunteering at Martin de Porres.

Tracy Waterman

Tracy Waterman, Sales Administrator

Tracy brings over 10 years of sales experience, including time with a technology startup. Her background suits our fast-paced environment perfectly, as does her mastery of Salesforce and other advanced business applications. A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Tracy earned her BA in Business Management, with a minor in French, from Western Washington University. Outside of her work with us at Stillwater, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, as well as playing the ukulele. She is also a volunteer driver for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

Architectural Team

Jana Hungarter

Jana Hungarter, Design Studio Manager

Jana has over 15 years of design and project management experience and is well-versed in both the residential and institutional sectors of architecture. Jana comes to Stillwater Dwellings from Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. She is an integral member of the Stillwater Dwellings leadership team. Jana assists, supports, and mentors all the Stillwater Design Studio staff to ensure that quality is consistent for all projects designed and developed by all staff members of the Stillwater Dwellings Design Studio team. Jana brings strong technical and project management skills to Stillwater Dwellings. She has experience designing, detailing and managing high-end custom residential projects. Jana has also worked with teams of architects and engineering consultants designing, detailing, and managing large scale institutional projects. Jana’s unique blend of residential and institutional project management experience along with her exceptional design and technical skills puts her in a great position to manage the Stillwater Dwellings Design Studio where the pace is fast and the process is groundbreaking. Jana received a BA in Art History from Brandeis University (Cum Laude) and her Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. When not obsessing about her job and architecture industry in general, Jana stays active by playing and coaching soccer. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two elementary school aged boys.

Glenn Timmons

Glenn Timmons, Senior Architect

From Shanghai to New York to Seattle, Glenn has spent his 12 year career focused on high-end residential design. He earned his B.A. in Architecture, with a minor in Fine Arts, at Clemson University before completing his double Masters in Architecture and Urban Design at Washington University in St. Louis. Originally from Murray, Kentucky, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and passing along his architecture skills to his son in the form of Legos. Glenn is passionate about beautiful, efficient design and creating spaces that are both memorable and special. He is also involved with ARCADE, a Seattle- based nonprofit that creates opportunities for sharing ideas about design culture and the built environment.

Joshua May

Joshua May, Architect

Joshua has a wide range of experience in residential design, project management and construction. With over 15 years of working on a multitude of architectural projects, Joshua brings extensive knowledge to his role at Stillwater Dwellings. Originally from Washington, Joshua grew up in California. He then studied sustainable architecture and design, as well as urban planning, in California and Denmark before earning his Bachelor of Architecture at Washington State University. He is LEED Building Design + Construction accredited and licensed in Washington State. Outside of exercising his passion for designing and building beautiful spaces for people to live and work, you can find him racing sailboats, teaching snow sports, or rock climbing. He is also actively involved with Habitat for Humanity, the Seattle Architecture Foundation, and the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

James Croft

James Croft, Senior Project Manager

As a tradesman, a project architect, and project manager with close to 20 years of design, construction, and business management experience, James brings a wealth of knowledge into every Stillwater Dwellings project. Having designed and/or built over 40 homes throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado, James utilizes his knowledge and expertise to serve as Stillwater Dwellings’ Sr. Project Manager for all projects during the construction phase. He coordinates the majority of activities for panel manufacturing and component ordering and serves as the Stillwater Dwellings liaison with each homeowner’s site contractor from Permit to Occupancy.

Mira De Avila-Shin

Mira De Avila-Shin, Architectural Intern

As our intern, Mira is new to the architecture profession, but has a prestigious education under her belt. She received her B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and recently completed her Masters of Architecture at Columbia University. Originally from Oakland, California, Mira is enjoying life in the Pacific Northwest and taking opportunities to explore the area. She particularly enjoys visiting museums, going on hikes, and remembering her days on the Rugby team by watching the sport on television.

Suzanne Wood

Suzanne Wood, CPA, Accountant

Suzanne has over 18 years of professional Accounting experience, including 13 years working for a glass artist in their accounting department. That, as well as starting her own business three years ago, have provided her invaluable life and real world experience. Originally from Long Island, NY, Suzanne is now happily Seattle-based and attended City University of Seattle for her Accounting education. Suzanne brings her passion for integrity, accuracy, and being fair while building relationships to Stillwater, which we all appreciate. Outside of work, you might find Suzanne playing an instrument (flute, clarinet, and guitar), traveling, or working on her cabin in the woods.

Emily Rubenstein

Emily Rubenstein, Office Manager

With ten years of experience at both a small family-owned business and a global corporation, Emily enjoys the aspects of innovation and agility at Stillwater. Though Emily’s background is in travel and marketing, much of her work in previous roles translates to our commitment to efficiency and problem solving. Born and raised in the greater Seattle area, Emily obtained her B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Washington and is a diehard Husky fan. She enjoys spending time with her husband and Shiba Inu, as well as reading and doing the New York Times crossword. Emily is a volunteer with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
